Key Responsibilities: 1. Industry Connect & Employer Relations Establish and maintain relationships with companies, HR managers, and recruiters for internships and final placements. Identify and approach new recruiters across industries relevant to the institutions courses. Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interaction sessions. 2. Student Career Development Guide students on career opportunities, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills. Coordinate training programs such as aptitude, communication skills, and technical sessions. Maintain a database of student profiles and ensure readiness for placements. 3. Placement Process Management Plan and execute the annual placement schedule. Communicate placement policies and guidelines to students and recruiters. Manage placement records, offer letters, and post-placement follow-up. 4. Networking & Outreach Collaborate with alumni for networking and placement support. Participate in industry seminars, HR forums, and job fairs to build institutional visibility. 5. Reporting & Documentation Maintain placement statistics and prepare reports for management. Provide data for accreditation and ranking requirements related to placement. Qualifications & Skills: Education: MBA / Masters degree in HR, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Training & placement, corporate relations, or placement coordination in an educational institution. Skills: Strong communication & networking skills. Ability to negotiate and build relationships with corporate partners. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms for placement tracking. Key Competencies: Proactive and result-oriented approach. Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centric attitude. Knowledge of local industry trends, especially in and around Tamil Nadu.
