Your key responsibilities will include: Possessing a solid understanding of the working principles of automobiles. Applying fundamental concepts in Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Computational Fluid Dynamics. Conducting finite volume modelling for systems including Full Cabin, Engine, and other critical components. Expertly assigning boundary conditions and material properties to components to ensure accurate simulations. Differentiating between steady and transient simulations while selecting appropriate modes of heat transfer for each scenario. Implementing boundary conditions necessary for both steady and transient analyses. Executing CFD simulations for various components such as Pressure drops, Flow distribution, Intake and Exhaust Manifolds, and more, while performing conjugate heat transfer analysis as needed. Demonstrating proficiency in post-processing results and preparing comprehensive reports for presentation to the design team. Advising on design adjustments to meet acceptance criteria based on analytical results while considering manufacturing and packaging constraints. Being knowledgeable about testing Full Vehicle systems and understanding instrumentation for testing procedures. Correlating CFD results with physical test findings to validate simulation accuracy. Moreover, you will be expected to provide insights and recommendations that will drive improvements in design and engineering practices, ensuring that we meet both internal standards and customer expectations.
