Pubrica Scientific Writing & Publication is offering an opportunity for Academic Technical Writers with 2 openings. As an Academic Technical Writer, your primary responsibility will be to undertake research on the given topic and independently create concepts based on the customer's requirements. This role involves scientific and academic research and writing, including tasks such as writing journals, theses, dissertations, and assignments for Master's level and PhD scholars. You will be required to develop technical and literary writing skills while maintaining originality in your work. It is essential to verify that the content aligns with the customer's requirements and be prepared to rewrite the material if it does not meet the specified criteria. Possessing self-discipline and effective time management skills are crucial for this role. Academic Technical Writers must have strong analytical skills to make complex decisions independently. Reviewing, submitting for approval, and revising written material to meet industry standards and client needs are also part of the job responsibilities. Additionally, you may be required to rephrase and proofread articles as needed and perform other academic writing tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills in English, along with a strong subject knowledge related to computer science and general engineering concepts. Good analytical skills are necessary, and familiarity with different machine learning algorithms, as well as basic coding knowledge in Java/Python, is preferred. Academic Technical Writers are expected to have a sound understanding of language skills and be able to communicate effectively in English. Qualifications for this position include an M.Tech/M.E or M.Sc. in Computer Science, or an M.A., M. Phil, English Literature, M.B.A., or PhD. Candidates who are willing to join immediately or on short notice will be preferred. The job location is at Nungambakkam, Chennai. Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidates.
