Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Delhi NCR and Pune for an OEM Manager at The Waxpol Industries Limited . The OEM Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding strategic relationships with Automobile Manufacturers (OEMs) . The role involves driving business growth within the automotive sector, securing product approvals, negotiating long-term supply partnerships, and ensuring alignment with OEM-specific technical, commercial, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with major Automotive OEMs across India. Navigate OEM processes such as vendor development, product validation, quality audits, and supply-chain requirements. Coordinate with internal teams (Production, R&D, QA, Logistics, Procurement) to ensure timely and compliant deliveries. Identify new opportunities within the automotive ecosystem and lead business development initiatives. Lead commercial negotiations, annual rate contracts, and technical approval cycles. Monitor market trends, competitor products, and emerging automotive technologies relevant to Waxpol’s offerings. Ensure alignment with OEM KPIs related to quality, cost, delivery, and service . Qualifications Mandatory: Prior hands-on experience managing or working directly with Automotive OEMs (e.g., Tata Motors, Mahindra, Bajaj, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Toyota, etc.). Strong relationship management, customer engagement, and negotiation skills tailored to the automotive industry. Experience in business development, automotive market analysis, or key account management. Understanding of automotive quality systems and processes, including audits, vendor approval workflows, and SOP readiness. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical fields . Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ranchi for an Automation Engineer at The Waxpol Industries Limited. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems to reduce manpower intensity and streamline manufacturing workflows within our chemical production facility that supports FMCG product manufacturing. The role involves upgrading existing processes, introducing new automation solutions, improving production efficiency, enhancing equipment reliability, and ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Analyze current production processes and identify areas where automation can reduce manual dependency and improve efficiency. Design and implement automated systems such as mixing automation, batching systems, filling/packing automation, control logic enhancements, and inline quality monitoring. Develop and optimize control strategies for chemical processing equipment (reactors, mixers, blenders, filling lines, labelling machines, etc.). Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D teams to understand process constraints and ensure smooth integration of automated systems. Troubleshoot and maintain , instrumentation, and control systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. Lead automation projects end-to-end, including vendor selection, installation supervision, commissioning, and performance validation. Implement safety interlocks, alarms, and process control improvements in compliance with chemical and FMCG manufacturing norms. Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades to improve throughput, reduce energy consumption, and enhance process consistency. Train operators and technicians on new automated systems and develop user SOPs and documentation. Qualifications Mandatory: Experience in industrial automation within chemical, FMCG, lubricants, food processing, or similar manufacturing environments. Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Delta/Mitsubishi), SCADA/HMI development, and control panel design. Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, flow/level/temperature control, and calibration techniques. Experience in integrating automation with batching systems, filling/packaging lines, and chemical process equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose process issues and propose automated solutions. Understanding of industrial safety standards, process hazards, and compliance requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, or related technical fields. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and lead automation implementation on the production floor. Experience with energy optimization, predictive maintenance systems, or Industry 4.0 technologies is an added advantage.
