The Orchid is committed to delivering excellent hospitality while maintaining environmental consciousness. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Chief Engineer. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems and equipment within the hotel. Daily tasks include supervising the engineering team, conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Chief Engineer will also collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience and address any technical issues that may arise. Qualifications \n Extensive knowledge in maintenance and operation of engineering systems Experience in supervising and managing engineering teams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of safety and environmental compliance standards Excellent communication and leadership skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
