Role Overview As the Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue for The Mulberry Weddings. You’ll work closely with the creative, marketing, and leadership teams to position our brand with high-end clientele, luxury planners, and destination partners across India and beyond. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of sales in the luxury or creative services sector, who can blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a robust business development strategy to increase inbound and outbound sales leads. Identify and pursue opportunities with wedding planners, event agencies, hospitality groups, and individual clients. Build strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients and industry partners. Represent The Mulberry Weddings at industry events, expos, and networking functions. Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns and pitch materials aligned with brand vision. Oversee the sales funnel from initial inquiry to final booking, ensuring exceptional client service throughout. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine targeting strategies. Provide monthly reports and performance forecasts to the leadership team. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, preferably in creative services, luxury events, or media production. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong understanding of the wedding/events industry is highly desirable. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Self-driven, confident, and comfortable with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and digital communication platforms.
