1. General Accounting Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly close procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. Ensure updated compliance and internal financial policies. 2. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in financial analysis, variance reporting, and commentary. Ensure timely submission of internal and external financial reports. 3. Audit & Compliance Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. Ensure tax filings (VAT, TDS, income tax) are accurate and submitted on time. Maintain compliance with local financial regulations and standards. 4. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Monitor actual vs. budgeted performance and report deviations. Provide recommendations for cost control and revenue improvement. 5. Team Supervision & Collaboration Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff. Coordinate with other departments for cross-functional financial needs. Support ERP/accounting software implementation or improvements. 6. Client Communication Must have a good and direct client communication experience, including payments, follow-ups, account reconciliation, and maintaining strong client relationship. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA (preferred or in progress). Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, etc). Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
