Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate 2D technical drawings of produced components and creating and maintaining a comprehensive part list library. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure all technical documentation is up-to-date and supports our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Technical Drafting: Produce accurate 2D technical drawings of components using AutoCAD. Revise and update drawings to reflect design modifications and improvements. Part List Library Management: Create, update, and maintain a detailed part list library, ensuring all technical specifications and data are accurate and current. Collaborate with the engineering team to verify component details and manage revision control. Documentation & Quality Control: Prepare and maintain supporting documentation, including work instructions, process maps, and revision logs. Review and ensure all technical documentation complies with established engineering and quality standards. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production managers, engineers, and quality control teams to gather feedback and ensure smooth transitions from design to manufacturing. Act as a liaison between design and production teams to support process documentation and implementation. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve drafting methods, component documentation, and part list management processes. Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall product quality. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) with strong 2D drafting capabilities. Experience in managing technical data and part libraries is a plus. Attributes: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
