The Role: Assistant Branch Manager (Sales Focus) We are seeking a highly motivated, target-driven, and internationally-savvy Assistant Branch Manager to lead our sales efforts for Ready Group Tours. This is a pure sales leadership role. Your major focus is the conversion of leads into bookings for pre-designed Group Tours. The robust operational support, including quoting, documentation, and back-office management, is handled by the Flamingo Head Office (HO) via our centralized CRM system, freeing you and your team to focus exclusively on achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Driving Group Tour Sales & Target Achievement (Primary Focus) Lead the sales team with a primary focus on selling Ready Group Tours and consistently achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Monitor incoming daily sales leads, ensure their efficient assignment, and drive timely, target-oriented follow-up by the team. Push the sales team relentlessly to achieve assigned sales targets , maintaining a high-performance, target-driven culture. 2. Expert Destination Guidance & Sales Presentation Act as the lead consultant, providing customers with accurate and inspiring destination knowledge to guide them to the right Group Tour package. Conduct engaging presentations about travel packages and destination insights to potential passengers, leveraging your expertise to close sales. Mandatory Destination Knowledge: Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in selling and designing itineraries for: Southeast Asia: Vietnam, Singapore, Bali. Far East: Japan. Global Destinations: Europe (All regions), Africa, Middle East, The Americas (USA/Canada/South America), Australia, and New Zealand. Domestic Focus: In-depth knowledge of India's popular tourist circuits. 3. Team Leadership & Reporting Manage the daily workflow and performance of the sales team through effective coaching and mentorship. Ensure the team consistently uses the CRM system for all daily reporting, lead tracking, and sales pipeline management. Generate and analyze sales reports to strategize for improved conversion rates. 4. Training & Partner Integration Attend and actively participate in regular training sessions conducted by Flamingo Destination Specialists, both online and offline, including periodic training at the Ahmedabad Head Office . Utilize the knowledge that Flamingo has a dedicated 300+ destination operation team focused on each destination, enabling your team to confidently focus solely on sales conversion. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 3-5 years of experience in travel package sales, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory role. Deep, verifiable, and current destination knowledge across the specified international markets is non-negotiable. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and drive a sales team in a high-target environment. High proficiency in using CRM software for daily operations and sales tracking. Exceptional presentation skills to showcase package features and destination insights effectively. Must be results-driven and ready to work exclusively on sales targets.
