Job description: Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Casting Manager – Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by building strong relationships with production houses, brands, agencies, and talent networks. This role combines casting management with business development, requiring expertise in artist coordination, project acquisition, and strategic client engagement. Key Responsibilities Casting Management Oversee end-to-end casting operations for films, web series, advertisements, music videos, fashion shows, and other entertainment projects. Maintain and update a strong database of actors, models, influencers, and performers. Coordinate auditions, screen tests, and talent shortlisting as per client requirements. Collaborate with creative teams, directors, and producers to deliver suitable casting options within deadlines. Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities with production houses, OTT platforms, advertising agencies, and event organizers. Develop partnerships with brands and agencies to secure casting and talent management projects. Pitch services, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets. Build long-term client relationships and maintain a strong professional network in the entertainment industry. Strategy & Growth Conduct market research to identify industry trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities. Contribute to strategic planning for expanding the company’s presence in the casting and talent management ecosystem. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field (MBA preferred). 1+ years of experience in casting, talent management, or business development within the entertainment/media industry. Strong understanding of the film, advertising, modeling, and OTT ecosystem. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Creative vision with a keen eye for identifying talent. Key Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset with a growth-driven approach.
