Job Description Position: Quantity Surveyor Industry: Construction/Manufacturing Work Location: Sahakarnagar, Bangalore-560 092 Job Summary: As a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Your goal is to minimize project costs and enhance value for money, while ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality requirements. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to monitor project finances and contract terms. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Develop budgets, cost plans, and value engineering solutions. Provide advice on cost optimization to meet client’s financial objectives. Contract Administration: Draft, review, and manage contracts between clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensure that contract terms are followed, and any changes are accounted for via change control procedures. Advise on contractual matters, including claims, disputes, and amendments. Cost Control & Monitoring: Track project costs and ensure that project is completed within the approved budget. Prepare cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts. Monitor the progress of works against the agreed program. Tendering & Procurement: Prepare tender documents and manage the tendering process. Evaluate bids from contractors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring value for money. Procure materials and services for the project. Risk Management: Identify potential financial and contractual risks associated with projects. Develop mitigation strategies and implement cost-saving measures. Valuations & Payments: Conduct on-site measurements and prepare valuations of work in progress. Process payments to contractors and suppliers. Finalize project accounts and prepare settlement documentation. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety standards, and legal requirements. Work with the project team to ensure that projects meet quality and sustainability goals. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the project manager, client, and stakeholders. Prepare post-project evaluations and audits to measure cost performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field). 3+ years of experience Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations. Familiarity with contract law, procurement processes, and cost control techniques. Job Title: Structural Engineer Industrial / PEB Steel Buildings Location: Sahakar nagar, Bangalore-560092 Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with strong proficiency in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and Industrial Steel Structure Design. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the design, analysis, and detailing of steel buildings, including connection design, sub-structure systems, and comprehensive waterproofing solutions for both sub-structure and super-structure elements. Key Responsibilities: Structural analysis and design of steel structures including industrial buildings, warehouses, and PEB systems as per IS, AISC, or Eurocodes. Preparation of design calculations, general arrangements, and detailed fabrication drawings. Design and detailing of all types of steel connections bolted, welded, moment-resisting, etc. Detailing coordination with the drafting team using tools like AutoCAD, Tekla, Staad Pro, and Revit. Design of sub-structure elements including foundations, anchor bolts, and interface connections with super-structure. Development and specification of effective waterproofing methods and drainage solutions for both sub-structure (basements, foundations) and super-structure (roofing, cladding joints). Evaluation of vendor/shop drawings and coordination with contractors, fabricators, and site teams. Conduct structural site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting during fabrication or erection. Ensure design compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and relevant codes. Work collaboratively with architects, MEP consultants, and project managers throughout the design-development lifecycle. Key Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in structural design software: STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD. Deep understanding of PEB systems and industrial steel frame structures. Strong knowledge of steel detailing and fabrication processes. Familiarity with Indian and international design codes (IS, AISC, BS, Eurocode). Understanding of waterproofing systems: membranes, sealants, coatings for roofing, basements, joints. Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil / Structural Engineering. Master's degree (preferred). Minimum 48 years of relevant experience in industrial steel structure/PEB design. Experience with both design consultancy and site coordination is a plus.
