We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IGCSE Coordinator to lead and manage the implementation of the IGCSE curriculum across Grades 9 and 10. The IGCSE Coordinator will be responsible for academic planning, teacher coordination, student performance tracking, and ensuring compliance with Cambridge International Education (CIE) standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a deep understanding of the IGCSE framework and a passion for educational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Implementation & Academic Leadership: Oversee the planning and delivery of the IGCSE curriculum in line with Cambridge standards. Ensure curriculum coverage, academic rigor, and differentiation in lesson delivery. Coordinate the selection of subjects, textbooks, and teaching materials. Teacher Coordination & Support: Guide and support subject teachers in lesson planning, assessments, and pedagogical strategies. Organize regular subject department meetings, training sessions, and peer reviews. Ensure consistency in marking schemes, grade boundaries, and internal assessments. Assessment & Examination Management: Liaise with the CIE board to manage student registrations, entries, and exam schedules. Ensure timely completion and submission of coursework and other exam-related documentation. Coordinate internal mock exams and assessments in alignment with Cambridge expectations. Student Support & Performance Monitoring: Monitor student performance through data analysis and implement improvement strategies. Provide academic counseling for subject selection, learning gaps, and exam preparation. Maintain records of academic progress and prepare regular performance reports. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure the school complies with all CIE requirements and policies. Prepare the school and teachers for Cambridge inspections and quality assurance visits. Keep updated with Cambridge curriculum updates and communicate changes to staff. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or subject-related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching IGCSE subjects; prior experience in coordination or academic leadership is preferred. In-depth knowledge of IGCSE curriculum and assessment structure . The ideal candidate will guide children aged 2.5 to 6 years through imaginative play, nature-based activities, rhythmic routines, and artistic expression—fostering holistic development of the head, heart, and hands. This role requires a deep understanding of child development and a commitment to creating a calm, harmonious, and joyful classroom atmosphere rooted in reverence and rhythm. Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain a daily, weekly, and seasonal rhythm that supports the healthy development of young children. Guide children through imaginative play, storytelling, songs, handwork, movement, and nature-based experiences. Prepare and maintain a warm, beautiful, and orderly classroom environment using natural and sensory-rich materials. Observe each child’s developmental progress and individual needs, and provide appropriate care and guidance. Build a relationship of trust and cooperation with parents through regular communication, conferences, and parent meetings. Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to uphold the values and vision of Waldorf education. Engage in ongoing professional development, including Waldorf teacher training and festivals. Support the planning and celebration of seasonal festivals and community events. Maintain the health and safety of all children in accordance with school policies.
