Role Summary We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our India-based technical teams and work closely with stakeholders to drive product excellence. You’ll serve as the technical leader and mentor , owning architecture, delivery, team capability, and innovation across our platforms. In addition to leading engineering strategy, you will also be responsible for managing and scaling our Data Operations — ensuring our systems are built for performance, analytics, and intelligent decision-making. This role blends technical depth, leadership maturity , and the ability to grow high-performing engineering teams in a dynamic, agile environment. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture, technical design, and platform decisions across all core products. Oversee engineering delivery, team capabilities, and code quality across the India org. Drive Data Operations in collaboration with product and analytics teams — including data infrastructure, pipeline optimization, data governance, and reliability. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and US Engineering Leadership to shape scalable, future-ready solutions. Champion clean code, reusable components, performance, and secure coding practices. Implement best practices in software development, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud (preferably Azure). Identify technology gaps and drive continuous improvement across codebase, tools, and culture. Manage technical escalations, conduct code/design reviews, and support critical releases. Own and evolve engineering KPIs — quality, velocity, maintainability, scalability, and data integrity. Provide technical vision and thought leadership within the India team and other stakeholders. Desired Skills & Experience 12 -15+ years in software engineering with deep expertise in full-stack development (Microsoft stack preferred — .NET Core, Azure, React/Angular). Strong experience in data engineering, data platforms , or leading data infrastructure teams — including pipelines, storage, ETL, and analytics enablement. Proven track record of leading or mentoring high-performing engineering teams. Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, API-first systems. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, GitHub workflows, and DevOps practices. Strong communicator — able to bridge the gap between technology and business outcomes. Experience with U.S.-based clients/products, especially in healthcare or health-tech, is a plus .
