As a Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing at The CSR Journal, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the expansion of our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting CSR initiatives. Responsibilities Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. - Analyze competitor activities to stay informed about market dynamics. Strategy: - Assist Head of Strategy in develop & implementing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Client Acquisition and Retention: - Develop and implement effective strategies for acquiring new key clients. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Lead Generation: - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation activities for The CSR Journal print magazine, annual excellence awards and membership plan for the website. Partnerships Deals: - Ensuring closure of brand partnership deals for the annual awards and print magazine. - Continuously assess and improve sales strategies to maximize revenue. Proposal Development and Presentation: - Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and profitability for both the company and clients. - Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients. - Effectively communicate the value proposition of The CSR Journal's services. Reporting and Analysis: - Generate regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Analyze data to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement. Qualifications Post Graduate Experience 2-3 years Work experience in handling the role of Business Development/Marketing/Strategy/Sales Skills Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Out of the box thinking
