Job Description We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join The Avo Company, India’s first brand dedicated to authentic, lab tested avocado and olive oils, designed for Indian cooking and wellness. In this role, you’ll make an impact by driving our brand’s market expansion – from building relationships with premium retailers, HoReCa partners all of Pan-India, to growing our digital and offline presence and ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects our core promise: purity, transparency, and trust. In this role, you will: Sales & Growth Identify, approach, and onboard new B2B partners (HoReCa, Retail, Health Stores). Generate and convert B2C leads through digital channels and events. Track leads, conversions, and performance using structured dashboards. Marketing & Brand Development Develop and execute campaigns across Instagram, Meta, and e-commerce platforms. Collaborate with influencers, chefs, and wellness experts for partnerships. Create and manage promotional content and product storytelling online. Customer Interaction & Retention Handle customer queries, feedback, and recall management with empathy and precision. Ensure customer satisfaction, repeat sales, and referral growth. Reporting & Insights Analyse market data, competitor activities, and trends for management review. Present performance metrics and propose growth strategies. Qualifications and Competencies Education: Graduate or MBA in Marketing / Business / FMCG preferred. Experience: 3–6 years in FMCG, Food, or D2C brand sales/marketing. Strong exposure to brand launches or premium consumer goods. Core Competencies: Customer-centric approach & problem-solving mindset. Digital fluency (Wordpress, Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Instagram Handling). Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Ownership, accountability, and a passion for health & sustainability. Additional Information Reports to: Business Director (Remote, Nashik) Travel: Occasional intercity travel for exhibitions, trade fairs, and client visits.
