Core Duties Program Development • Design and implement age-segmented swim curricula (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Competitive Squads). Establish annual training plans aligned to CBSE/IB physical-education goals and national competitive calendars. Coaching & Instruction • Conduct daily coaching sessions (before school, timetabled PE, and after-school squads). Demonstrate correct stroke mechanics, water safety, starts & turns, and race strategies. Provide individualized feedback and maintain performance logs for every swimmer. Team & Event Management • Form and mentor the Amaatra Swim Team; schedule intra-school trials and inter-school/club meets. Coordinate travel logistics and risk assessments for competitions. Safety & Compliance • Maintain strict adherence to FINA and Swimming Federation of India (SFI) safety standards. Conduct pre-session briefings and emergency-response drills; supervise lifeguards on duty. Facility & Equipment Oversight • Liaise with operations staff to ensure optimal water quality, temperature, and lane setup. Monitor inventory of training aids (kickboards, pull buoys, resistance bands) and recommend replacements/upgrades. Stakeholder Engagement • Communicate progress reports to parents and the Sports Director. Organize swimmer-parent orientations, workshops, and showcase events. Build partnerships with regional swim clubs for joint camps and talent identification.
