As a Social Science Teacher, your role involves delivering engaging and informative lessons for Classes 6 to 10 using a variety of teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, creating instructional materials, designing assessments to evaluate student understanding, and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Social Science for Classes 6 to 10. - Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum. - Design and conduct periodic assessments, quizzes, and examinations. - Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment. - Provide additional support and tutoring to students who need help with concepts. - Incorporate current events and real-world examples into lessons. - Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects. - Stay updated on the latest trends in Social Science education. Qualifications: - Education: A Bachelors degree in Social Science or a related field, along with a Bachelors degree in Education (B.Ed). - Experience: Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred. - Skills required: Strong knowledge of Social Science concepts, effective teaching strategies, proficiency in using technology for learning, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. In addition to the above, you should possess a passion for teaching, commitment to student success, ability to inspire and engage students, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. This role is crucial for fostering students" understanding of social studies, promoting critical thinking, and preparing them for informed citizenship in a diverse society. This is a full-time position and a Master's degree is preferred for education. The work location is in person.,
