Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) for the subjects of Science and English. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success. This role requires a strong foundation in both scientific concepts and English language skills, with an emphasis on instructional design that caters to diverse learning styles.

Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for Science and English.
• Utilize various instructional strategies to enhance student understanding of complex topics, including discrete math, differential equations, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Facilitate classroom discussions that encourage critical thinking and promote a collaborative learning atmosphere.
• Organize and oversee research laboratory activities to provide hands-on experience in scientific inquiry.
• Integrate Montessori principles into lesson planning to support individualized learning pathways.
• Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, ensuring all materials are accessible and well-prepared.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles to create effective educational experiences.
• Proficiency in discrete math, differential equations, biochemistry, molecular biology, and general math concepts.
• Experience in conducting research and managing research laboratory settings.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats to effectively convey complex information.
• Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is preferred but not required.
• Ability to foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
