TGT Odia

As a Odia Language Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to teach Odia language and literature to students of classes 9-10. You will be required to develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that are in line with the curriculum. Creating a positive and engaging learning environment will be essential to enhance students" understanding of Odia grammar, poetry, and prose. Additionally, you will conduct periodic assessments, assignments, and exams to evaluate student performance, providing remedial support and guidance when necessary. Encouraging reading, writing, and creative expression in Odia will be a key part of your role. Implementing modern teaching techniques, including digital resources, will also be crucial in making the learning process more effective. Maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with school authorities, fellow teachers, and parents, and participating in school activities, cultural programs, and literary competitions are also expected. Staying updated with educational developments and integrating innovative teaching methods while ensuring discipline and decorum in the classroom are essential aspects of this position. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc) with Odia as a subject, along with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university. Possessing a CTET/OTET qualification as per state or national requirements is required. Proficiency in spoken and written Odia, as well as experience in teaching Odia at the secondary level, are preferred qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Odia grammar and literature, effective classroom management and communication skills, a passion for teaching and mentoring students, the ability to integrate technology into teaching, and creativity in designing lesson plans and assessments.
