Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified TGT Computer Teacher to join our residential school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to middle and secondary classes, ensuring strong conceptual understanding, practical skills, and discipline while staying within the residential school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science/Information Technology to Classes 6–10 as per the school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical assignments.
• Conduct regular practical sessions in the computer lab and ensure proper lab maintenance.
• Evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Prepare question papers, check answer sheets, and maintain student academic records.
• Integrate modern teaching tools and digital resources for effective learning.

Residential & Pastoral Responsibilities

• Stay on campus and contribute to student welfare and supervision as part of the residential setup.
• Take responsibility for evening study supervision and remedial classes (if required).
• Support and participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and overall well-being of hostel students.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain computer lab facilities, software records, and IT equipment.
• Coordinate with the school admin/IT team for technology-related support.
• Attend staff meetings, training programs, and school events as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and academic standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Prior teaching experience in a school setup (preferably residential) is an added advantage.

Skills Required

• Strong command of Computer Science concepts (coding, applications, hardware basics, etc.).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use smart-class tools, educational software, etc.
• Patience, discipline, and commitment to residential school culture.
