Role & responsibilities Job Title: Data Scientist (3-5 Years Experience) Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models for various business problems, with a strong focus on time series forecasting. Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Design, build, and validate predictive models using state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring scalability and robustness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business) to translate business requirements into data science solutions. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and time series analysis, and proactively apply new techniques as appropriate. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Strong expertise in time series forecasting (ARIMA, XGBoost, RandomForest, TFT, NHITS, etc.) and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). Excellent programming skills in Python (preferred), with proficiency in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly). Solid conceptual understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical methods. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools. Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. As an Optical Bonding Engineer (Mechanical) in Coimbatore, you will be a valuable addition to our team if you are passionate about product design, precision engineering, and display innovation. You will be responsible for leading product design and development activities, implementing GD&T, DFMEA, and DFR principles, driving design reviews with suppliers, and developing optical bonding for display modules. Troubleshooting LCD/TFT backlight and illumination issues will also be a key part of your role. You should possess a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics with 5-10 years of experience in mechanical/product design. Hands-on experience with DFM, DOE, GD&T, DFMEA, DFR, expertise in optical component & backlight module design (TFT/LCD), proficiency in tolerance stack-up analysis, and structural/thermal analysis are essential requirements. You will be responsible for designing and developing advanced automotive instrument clusters from concept to production. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, specifications, and architecture. You will create schematics, layouts, and 3D models using CAD software (UGNx) and conduct testing/validation of parts at both the vehicle and part level to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards. Additionally, you will provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams during production and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive designs. You will also be involved in quality issue analysis and countermeasures, project management, coordination with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to automotive safety standards like AIS, IS11827, ECE, ISO 26262. Your technical skills will include a good knowledge of ICs, Digital Clusters & Digital Cockpits systems, proficiency in DMU/CAD data preparation/checking in UGNx, working exposure of GUI tools like Qt, CGI studio, experience with development on SoC & Microcontroller platforms, and a complete lifecycle experience of design and development for at least one part/model. On the behavioral side, you should possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and the capacity to coordinate department activities and represent them in various forums.
