Key Responsibilities: 🧊 Ice Cream, Gelato & Sorbet Production Prepare and follow standard & custom recipes for gelato, ice cream, and sorbets. Operate and maintain batch freezers, pasteurizers, and other related machines. Accurately measure, mix, and process ingredients. Control overrun, texture, and batch quality. 🔧 Equipment & Hygiene Clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment and production areas daily. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate service when needed. 🧠 Innovation & Planning Assist in developing new flavors, toppings, and production methods. Create and test recipes for sauces, inclusions, and bakery items (e.g. caramel, cookie crumbs, brownie bits). Keep records of batch consistency and recipe iterations. 📦 Production Oversight Take ownership of day-to-day production. Plan and execute production schedules to meet order timelines. Track inventory and raw material usage. Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and FSSAI compliance. 🍞 Bakery & Toppings Prepare artisanal toppings such as caramel, chocolate sauce, crumble, compote, etc. Operate small bakery equipment (mixers, ovens) to make inclusions. Qualifications: 2+ years experience in a dairy/ice cream/gelato/bakery/FMCG production setup. Familiarity with machines used in ice cream manufacturing (batch freezer, pasteurizer, homogenizer, etc.). Basic knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety (FSSAI preferred). Bonus: Hands-on experience with gelato-style production and recipe R&D. Soft Skills: Ownership mindset — treat the kitchen like your own. Strong attention to detail and hygiene.
