As an Assistant Manager in the Fabric Sourcing department of the Knits Division, you will leverage your 7-10 years of experience to oversee various aspects of fabric sourcing operations. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing overall order bookings and planning purchases accordingly, conducting technical analysis of products, and driving fabric development initiatives. In this role, you will provide guidance to your subordinates on fabric procurement, ensuring that all details related to confirmed orders are thoroughly reviewed and confirmed. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Tirupur PPC, fabric suppliers, and senior management to advise on fabric Time and Action (TNA) during Order Clarity Meetings. Your attention to detail will be critical as you verify final fabric quantity details, select suppliers, and evaluate their performance. Regular visits to potential suppliers will be necessary to gather information on their capabilities and offerings. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely forwarding of work orders and approvals to Tirupur PPC and suppliers, ensuring that fabric TNA is met as per the schedule confirmed in Order Clarity Meetings. To excel in this role, you should hold a Diploma or Degree in Textiles Technology with a background in the Knitting Industry. Experience in Polyester is preferred, as it will provide you with a solid foundation for success in this dynamic and challenging environment.,
