As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Mayur Wovens Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in leading the digital transformation, manufacturing automation, product innovation, and sustainability initiatives of the company. Your primary responsibility will be to align technology with business objectives, upgrade infrastructure, and enhance the company's position in the global woven packaging markets. Your key responsibilities will include defining and executing a long-term technology roadmap to meet business expansion and export market demands. You will oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or custom solutions. Driving digital transformation initiatives like smart factory implementation, IIoT integration, real-time production monitoring, and data analytics will also be part of your role. In terms of manufacturing automation, you will be tasked with modernizing the production infrastructure by identifying and integrating advanced technologies such as high-speed looms, automatic cutting, printing, and stitching systems. Additionally, leading the adoption of AI/ML for predictive maintenance and quality control to enhance production efficiency across multiple manufacturing units will be essential. Your involvement in product innovation and R&D will include supporting the development of cutting-edge packaging solutions like UV-protected fabrics, VCI liners, geotextiles, and zero-shrink materials. Collaborating with product and sales teams for private-label and specialized industrial applications will be crucial. Furthermore, evaluating and adopting sustainable, recyclable, and biodegradable material technologies will be part of your focus. Managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and data protection across all operations will fall under your purview. Enabling secure global communication and remote access systems to support international operations will be vital for the company's success. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, IT, Maintenance, and R&D departments. Building partnerships with equipment manufacturers, automation solution providers, and software vendors will be essential. Additionally, evaluating and managing capex for technology upgrades will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with international quality and environmental standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, REACH, and GRS will be a key aspect of your role. Promoting energy-efficient operations in line with the company's renewable power goals, including solar and wind energy initiatives, will also be important. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Textile Engineering (Masters preferred) and an MBA in Technology Management or a related field is a plus. You should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in technical leadership roles in textile/plastics packaging or manufacturing, with a proven track record in large-scale factory automation and innovation. Experience with ERP systems, IIoT, and data-driven production optimization will be necessary. Key skills required for this position include strategic technology planning, industrial automation, IIoT implementation, textile/fabric engineering, digital manufacturing, R&D collaboration, data analytics for production, cross-plant technology rollouts, and knowledge of sustainability and green technologies.,
