Textile graphic designer

As a Textile Graphic Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in creating original textile designs, prints, patterns, and artwork for both ethnic and western wear. Your primary responsibility will be to develop all-over prints, placement graphics, embroidery patterns, and motifs that align with our brand identity and seasonal trends. Utilizing design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW, you will collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure that the prints meet our brand standards. Staying updated with market trends, colors, textures, and fashion forecasts will be essential for this role. You will maintain a digital library of print artworks, manage revisions, and coordinate with vendors and printers for sampling and approvals. Your attention to detail and proficiency in graphic design tools will be key in ensuring that the artwork is production-ready with correct sizing, repeat formats, and color standards. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW is required, along with a strong sense of color theory, fabric types, and design aesthetics. Your ability to visualize and translate ideas into patterns and graphics, coupled with excellent attention to detail and time management skills, will set you up for success. Preferred skills for this role include experience in ethnic wear, western fashion, or home textiles, as well as knowledge of various printing techniques such as screen, digital, and block printing. An understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior will also be beneficial in this role.
