Textile Designer

You are looking for a Textile Designer with knowledge of high fashion, especially in women's wear, including Lehanga, Sarees, and Kurtis. Your role will involve managing the design process from conception to final styling, conducting market research to spot new trends, sketching designs, fabrics, and techniques, collaborating with team members to select themes, make line edits, and develop new concepts. You will also be responsible for selecting fabrics and trims, presenting boards and samples to buyers, and showcasing excellent design, conceptual, style, and color sense. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the design process from conception to final styling - Conduct market research to identify new trends - Sketch designs, fabrics, and techniques - Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes and create new concepts - Select fabrics and trims - Present story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers - Showcase excellent design and conceptual skills - Demonstrate a strong sense of style and color Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of experience in Textile Design - Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and textile patterns - Knowledge of current textile market trends - Ability to develop new design concepts The company is based in Jaipur city, Rajasthan, and the working days are from Monday to Saturday. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The education requirement is a Bachelor's degree, and the preferred experience is 2 years in Textile Designing. The work location is in person.
