Textile designer

As a Textile Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing Soft Home Furnishing products such as Decorative Cushions cover, Placemat, pot holder, kitchen towel, Table Linen, etc. for exports. You should have a thorough understanding of Textile design along with a minimum of 1 year experience in an Export House of Home Textiles. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working proficiently on computers to design and create CADS using software like Adobe Photoshop. - Forecasting colors, trends, and designs for export markets based on buyer's requirements. - Preparing samples and product development in a timely manner. - Demonstrating good organizational skills, proactiveness, teamwork, attention to detail, and a steady temperament. In addition, you should have a good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Office applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook would be beneficial. Candidates with a degree or diploma from NIFT or any other reputed institute, along with strong proficiency in CAD software (Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, Ned graphics software, Tex celle, etc.) are preferred.
