As a Textile & Apparel Designer based in Chennai, you will hold a full-time on-site position that involves a range of exciting responsibilities. Your primary tasks will include conceptualizing and executing innovative fashion designs, creating new textile patterns, and ensuring the impeccable fit of garments. You will engage in designing fashion collections, meticulously selecting suitable trims and textiles, and collaborating closely with team members to actualize designs. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a skill set encompassing Fashion Design, Fashion development, Textile expertise, and the ability to create new textile patterns. Proficiency in selecting appropriate trims and ensuring the perfect fit of garments is essential. Your role will demand a strong creative vision, keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a knack for teamwork. The position requires on-site work in Chennai and necessitates a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. Prior experience in handloom designs and traditional craftsmanship would be a valuable asset.
