Job Title: QA – Automation ( Salesforce) Experience: 3 to 6 Years Location : Bhilai/ Indore Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (QA Automation) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Web Application Automation Testing using any modern automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Testim) and scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript). They should also possess expertise in Salesforce application testing, API automation, and end-to-end software testing principles. A deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins and GitHub, is essential. Candidates must also be comfortable switching between programming languages and tools as needed. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web and API testing using Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, etc. Design and execute accurate test cases for the Salesforce application. Must have experience creating frameworks using Selenium and RestAssured. Should be willing to work on manual testing tasks as needed. Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to drive efficient and understandable test scenarios. Strong focus on Salesforce application testing, including familiarity with Salesforce workflows, objects, and UI. Create, maintain, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement automation strategies and improve test coverage and quality. Use GitHub for version control, ensuring proper branching, merging, and pull request practices. Build reusable libraries and utilities to streamline automation testing processes. Troubleshoot test script failures and improve execution reliability and performance. Execute functional, regression, and integration testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Design and perform performance and load testing as required. Provide training and support to team members on automation tools, frameworks, and best practices. Required Skills (Must Have): Mandatory experience in Salesforce application testing: must have hand-on experience in Salesforce workflows and application testing. Salesforce automation is a plus but not mandatory. Mandatory Web Automation: Strong hands-on experience in web automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Testim. Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Mandatory API Automation: Hands-on experience with at least one API testing tool: Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, Karate, or similar. Mandatory experience in manual testing concepts, test documentation (test cases, test plans, bug reports), and commonly used testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). Frameworks & Tools: Proven expertise with Cucumber BDD frameworks. Experience with TestNG or JUnit is a plus. CI/CD and Version Control: Hands-on experience with Jenkins for pipeline creation and maintenance. Proficient in GitHub for version control, code review, and collaboration. Manual Testing: Sound knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and test strategy. Must understand various testing levels like functional, regression, and integration testing. Preferred Skills: Salesforce automation experience is a plus. Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of Docker and containerized test environments. Experience with performance testing tools and approaches. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven track record of at least 3-6 years in automation testing or software development. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Incumbents in this position are experienced, hands on and self-motivated engineers who can work collaboratively in a continuous integration environment. They will focus on contributing to the development of automated Functional Integration tests and end-to-end tests through open-source test frameworks for overall system testing within an Agile environment. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Key Responsibilities Tests complex API, web and mobile based applications that reference database back-end systems. Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release. Designs, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback. Works with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle. Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verifies fixes. Works closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports. Works cross functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment. Strong experience in API testing from RESTful is required. Strong experience with JSON, Databases and SQL. Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and/or mobile devices. Experience with Test processes, open source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter and Appium is preferred. Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems. Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Git and Artifactory/Maven. Must be detail oriented, analytical and creative thinker with passion for quality and test automation. Strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills. Experience leading ambiguous situations, dealing with technical issues and coming up with effective solutions to ensure customer project deliverables.
