Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall testing strategy for power transformers, including short-term and long-term goals, in alignment with the company's objectives.
Establish and enforce standard testing procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead a team of testing professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient testing processes, timely delivery of results, and effective problem-solving.
Evaluate and select testing equipment, tools, and technologies to enhance testing capabilities and improve efficiency.
Monitor and analyze testing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and quality enhancement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience in testing transformers up to 200 Kv class desirable.
Experience in short-circuit testing is a must
Extensive experience in power transformer testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, equipment, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
