Testing Engineer Specialist - Software Quality

Role Overview: As a Testing Engineer Specialist- Software Quality, your main responsibility will be developing and managing software quality testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing processes, ensure proper execution, and create test cases that validate Software Quality. Additionally, you will serve as a bridge between test planning and execution, focusing on technical reviews, complex test scenarios, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and review detailed test cases for Software Quality, ensuring comprehensive coverage of system requirements. - Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and hardware engineers to conduct seamless integration testing. - Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues related to embedded systems, coordinating with global teams (China and USA) for timely resolutions. - Maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, and test results to ensure traceability and adherence to quality standards. - Analyze test data, provide metrics, and recommend continuous improvements to enhance software quality. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile practices to ensure testing aligns with the project timeline. - Provide mentorship to junior test engineers, guiding them through testing methodologies and test case development. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in Software testing, or hardware and embedded systems. - Proven experience in testing software quality and familiarity with hardware-software interaction. - Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines, including software, hardware, and firmware teams. - Strong knowledge of testing software quality and experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, C++ or Python. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, or a related field.
