As a Testing Engineer Specialist- Software Quality at SprintRay, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing software quality testing. Your primary responsibilities will involve defining testing processes, ensuring proper execution, and creating test cases to validate Software Quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, serving as a bridge between test planning and execution. This will involve conducting technical reviews, handling complex test scenarios, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and reviewing detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of system requirements. You will work collaboratively with product managers, software developers, and hardware engineers to facilitate seamless integration testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting integration issues related to embedded systems, coordinating with global teams for timely resolutions. Maintaining detailed test plans, scripts, and results will be essential for ensuring traceability and adherence to quality standards. You will also analyze test data, offer metrics, and propose continuous improvements to enhance software quality. Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile practices will be crucial to align testing with project timelines. Furthermore, providing mentorship to junior test engineers, guiding them through testing methodologies and test case development, will be an integral part of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have 3-5 years of experience in software testing, hardware, and embedded systems. Demonstrated expertise in testing software quality, familiarity with hardware-software interaction, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various disciplines are essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, C++, or Python is required. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field is necessary, and a master's degree would be advantageous. This is an onsite position in Hyderabad with working hours from 5 am to 2 pm IST.
