As a QA Manual & Support Engineer at Dassault Systmes in Pune, Maharashtra, you will have the opportunity to unlock your potential in the field of Scientific Software Engineering. Joining the QA & Support team at Information Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. Your responsibilities will include conducting functional testing of both web-based and standalone applications, providing Level 2 application support, and engaging in effective communication with local and remote team members, stakeholders, and customers. Additionally, you will be involved in working on large-scale software systems. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-3 years of experience in functional testing, demonstrate a tester's mindset, and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering fields. Knowledge of testing web-based applications and API testing will be beneficial, along with familiarity with testing methodologies, bug reporting, and bug lifecycle processes. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a customer support background are essential for success in this position. Candidates with testing certifications such as ISTQB or QAI, experience in automation testing, exposure to DevOps, and a good understanding of application support processes will have an added advantage. A proactive attitude, the ability to tackle challenging problems with innovative solutions, and a track record of academic excellence are also desired qualities for this role.
