As an Automation Test Engineer at EY, you will play a crucial role in performing automation feasibility studies, suggesting automation approaches, automating, maintaining, and executing regression tests to ensure that all automation needs are met and aligned with customer expectations. Your expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD Frameworks will be essential for conducting automation testing on both web and mobile applications. Having a strong grasp of Java and additional knowledge in vb scripting and python will be advantageous. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop/enhance Framework Architecture - Understand Test Requirements and analyze the Application under Test (AUT) - Select or Identify areas/test cases for Automation - Automate Web Application Testing using Selenium Webdriver with TestNG Framework and Cucumber BDD - Configure Selenium Test Environment for setup (e.g., Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, etc.) - Enhance, Debug, and Run Test Cases - Create reusable components - Implement various Frameworks like Page Object Model, Data-Driven, and Hybrid - Conduct Webservice Automation using REST Assured or SOAP - Possess knowledge on Locators, Xpath - Perform Parallel & Cross Browser Testing - Troubleshoot object identity issues and error handling - Organize and monitor defect management process - Handle changes and conduct regression tests **Qualifications Required:** - BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc - 2-5 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and domains - At least 2 years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber framework **Additional Details about EY:** At EY, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and inspiring projects, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
