Testing Associate I

As a Test Automation Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Chase Auto Finance Team, your primary responsibility will be to automate test scenarios, execute tests, and maintain them. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and strategic implementation of an automated testing solution to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce errors, and address pain points for stakeholders. Your key job responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating expertise in functional Automation, specifically WEB UI Automation, using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and Java, in addition to API Automation. - Conducting hands-on functional Automation of End-to-End business flows for new initiatives to facilitate testing processes. - Creating and managing a Regression Suite for various product segments. - Developing utilities/systems to facilitate Test Data and enhance automation efficiency. - Collaborating effectively within and outside the team on a daily basis. - Working closely with technical and product teams to comprehend requirements and translate them into automation scripts seamlessly. - Keeping the big picture of projects in mind, understanding the value of individual contributions, and aligning with project timelines. - Maintaining a strong focus on delivering high-quality outputs. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proficiency in functional Automation, including WEB UI Automation with Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and API Automation. - Experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and writing queries using SQL. - Proficiency in VB and Java scripting. - Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools like Jenkins. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for innovative thinking. - A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills that would be beneficial for this role include: - Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and deep knowledge of its various phases. - Ability to build Applications/APIs using Spring Boot. - Experience in developing UI using AngularJS and ReactJS. - Proficiency in writing code in AWS and utilizing AWS tools for testing processes (an added advantage).,
