The impact you will have in this role: The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components. Experience in writing SQL queries. Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins. Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium. Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination. In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes). Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black- box and both non-Blackbox testing, as well as regression testing. Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team independently, both individually and as part of a team. Preferably from Financial domain.
