Understand Review and analyze the Certify automation framework used for existing automation for best practices and reusability Understand Review and analyze SAP test automation scripts already developed for completeness coverage against their corresponding manual scripts and automation process followed Work with the project teams to build automation scripts for the project based on priorities and requests identified and approved by the Project Team Work with project teams to validate automation test requirements and build update the required automation test scripts Data used for the test scripts setup in record sets and test scripts Experience in Test Environment Setup and Test Infrastructure Development in both Manual and Automation Expertise in defining SAP Testing and Automation approach Detailed Reportoutput documentation of the test automation scripts developed modified Dry run of scripts fixing of script failure and root cause analysis Knowledge of Industry best practices and experience in applying these practices to build and test automation scripts Coordinate with other managers Project Manager Development Manager etc to ensure the highest level of software quality Status and Dashboard report automation Knowledge of Industry best practices and experience in applying these practices to build and test automation scripts Lead support and manage a team of Test Analysts as they deliver test conditions test scripts test execution and defect reporting across different phases of testing Undertake handson testing as required Develop strong working relationships with business representatives Engage and schedule business users for UAT phases Create and own the test execution schedule for UAT and Regression Test Regular progress reporting on UAT and Regression Test activities to the Manager throughout test preparation and execution Support the defect manager ensuring prompt scheduling and retesting of fixes Training user resources on test best practices Deputise for Programme Test Manager as required Recommend script remediation approach solution and estimates Plan track and manage overall script remediation efforts and resources Provide weekly status report to manager summarizing accomplishments planned activities metrics and known issuesrisksconcerns Technical Skills ESSENTIAL SKILLS Strong SAP test lead experience Ability to undertake hands on testing as required Experience of testing across a broad range of SAP modules ideally with experience of plant maintenance scheduling or finance SAP S4 experience Experience of working closely with users on UAT leading on UAT Good Knowledge of SAP Functions Finance Sales Logistics Ability to quickly understand companys customizations PREFERRED SKILLS Ideally detailed experience of one or more of plant maintenance scheduling and finance modules Experience of utilities industry and operational processes Strong communication skills Ability to engage with both technical business resource Dry run of scripts fixing of script failure and root cause analysis
