Additional valued skills for this role include collaborating with development teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC, identifying opportunities for test optimization, and mentoring junior QA engineers on automation best practices. Effective communication skills, SQL proficiency, working knowledge of Oracle, Hadoop, Pyspark, Ab-initio, and other ETL tools, as well as experience with metadata, domain maintenance, and JIRA, are also highly advantageous. The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects. The Accountabilities include developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, executing automated test scripts, analysing requirements, conducting root cause analysis, and staying informed of industry technology trends.
