Test Lead/Architect - L2/L3 Network Protocols & Automation

As a Test Lead/Architect specializing in L2/L3 Network Protocols & Automation, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies for cutting-edge networking products. Your deep understanding of networking technologies and strong Python scripting skills will be key to developing and implementing robust automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing test methodologies and plans for L2/L3 network protocols. You will analyze product requirements, estimate test effort, and lead the execution of functional, performance, and stability tests. Utilizing tools like IXIA and Spirent, you will simulate network traffic, validate protocol behavior, and provide detailed reports on test results to the development team. Demonstrating expertise in areas such as Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and more, you will troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical guidance to the team. Effective collaboration with development, marketing, and test teams is vital to ensure alignment, and you will communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on test progress and issues. In addition to technical leadership in network protocol testing and automation, you will mentor junior test engineers and stay updated on the latest networking technologies and testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in network protocol testing, proven expertise in creating test methodologies, strong coding skills in Python, and experience with automation frameworks like Robot Framework. Desired skills include experience with MPLS and EVPN. Please note that this role focuses specifically on L2/L3 network protocol testing and excludes regression testing, telecom (4G/5G), and storage profile testing.,
