As a Network Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for providing L3/L4 support to operations, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving network communication and operation issues that impact customers globally. You will collaborate with other teams to find quick solutions and provide escalation support to lower-tier teams. Additionally, you will lead self and others, serve as a Product Subject Matter Expert, and handle critical production issues. Your role will involve working on network security infrastructure solutions, managing multiple projects, and planning network roadmaps. You will analyze current and future IT industry trends to determine their impact on business and network systems architecture. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company's IT architecture and infrastructure, you will develop technical solutions, build strong relationships with Data Center staff, and design complex network solutions across various disciplines. You will play a consultative role for internal and external customers, contribute to documentation and process improvement, and provide strategic technical direction on complex network projects. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing innovative solutions, creating product roadmaps, and defining strategy and direction through client and market research. To be successful in this role, you should have expertise in network engineering, design, and architecture with exposure to LAN/WAN, firewalls, wireless, security, VOIP, QoS, and encryption technologies. Mastery of TCP/IP protocols, firewall experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA, as well as extensive knowledge of Cisco's product portfolio are required. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols, experience with SDN technologies like Cisco ACI and VMware NSX, and familiarity with SD-WAN solutions. Experience with scripting/automation tools and load balancing technologies is a plus. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and at least 12 years of overall work experience in the networking space. While this position does not have direct reports, you will mentor less experienced associates and lead technical projects. Your ability to manage resources effectively will be crucial in this role. Specific hiring needs may vary, but the skills required for this position include traditional networking expertise with Cisco routing/switching, knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and other protocols, as well as experience with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and CheckPoint. Familiarity with Nexus switches, VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI, and SD-WAN technologies will be beneficial. Experience with scripting/automation tools and load balancing technologies is highly desirable.,
