As a Mobile and Website Tester, your responsibilities will include: Requirements Analysis: You will be required to understand and review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create a detailed test plan. Collaborate with the development team and project managers to outline testing scope, objectives, methodologies, and resource requirements. Test Case Design and Automation: Develop comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on software requirements and functional specifications. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools. Collaborate with cross-product teams for cross-product integration testing. Test Execution: Perform manual testing to identify and report defects or issues in software functionality, user interface, performance, and usability. Conduct various tests, including functional, regression, installation, integration, database, migration, upgrade, and compatibility testing. Bug Reporting: Document and report software defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed steps to reproduce issues and relevant information for the development team. Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities and features.
