Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in software quality techniques and tools within a collaborative environment. Your role involves diving into technical details, designing optimal testing approaches, and implementing automation across various tech stacks. You will champion quality to maintain and improve team velocity, while continuously expanding your skills and knowledge. Sharing your expertise will contribute to elevating the Quality Engineering capability. Experience in agile environments, proficient code usage for reliable test automation, and the ability to define clear acceptance criteria are key expectations. A computer science background is essential, and a technology-based education is beneficial. Responsibilities include developing and refining test plans for complex applications, translating business requirements into comprehensive tests, and creating reliable test automation. You will collaborate with engineering teams, assess testability of user stories, and share your insights with the organization. Qualifications for this role include at least 3 years of Test Engineer experience, 1+ year of Java, Python, or JavaScript development experience, and familiarity with various Test Automation frameworks. Preferred qualifications encompass experience in non-functional testing, knowledge of deployment strategies, familiarity with BDD and TDD, expertise in Code Quality and Security Scanning tools, as well as proficiency in CI tools. A passion for product quality, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
