Test Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and manual testing for both UI and backend APIs. Proficiency in debugging and a decent understanding of Linux are essential. Experience Range: 6-9 Years Responsibilities: Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. Ability to write automation test suite for the features (UI or Rest APIs) Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects. Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues. Debug and troubleshoot issues across various environments. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Requirements: Proven experience in manual testing. Knowledge of Java and OOPS programmingKnowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of tools like JUnit, Mockito, JMeter, Karate (the BDD test framework they use in OEMI).
