We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer for our Reporting and Analytics team to further our mission of building technology and programs that help our more than 1 million employees reach their full potential from onboarding through career advancement. In this role, a BIE will play a pivotal role in designing, executing, and optimizing data solutions to empower our front-line leaders and ensure they are well-equipped to effectively lead the largest hourly population in Amazon. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about translating complex and ambiguous problem statements into actionable solutions, working across Employee Experience and Relations teams worldwide. In this role, you will partner with our program and product managers to consult, prioritize, develop and implement KPIs, and automate reporting processes. Your work will play a major role in devising the teams expansion strategy, technical foundation of our ecosystem and scaling our impact across the org. This role provides opportunities to test new approaches and innovate in an exciting, fast-paced environment Key job responsibilities In this role, you will use analytics to enhance our reporting and data product offerings and improve employee experience and relations Collaborate with PATOE developers and evaluate internal processes, approaches, and technical systems to establish highest standards and ensure safety for our associates and leaders Apply deep analytics and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complicated data sets Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports and dashboards Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives Deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks Serve as liaison between the business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current program performance, and ad-hoc investigations to support future improvements or innovations Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis through data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify trends and opportunities About the team This role sits within the larger People Analytics, Technology, and Operations Excellence (PATOE), a team of Engineers, Data Professionals, Product Managers and Scientists supporting People Experience & Technology (PXT) and Operations worldwide. The role will report into Reporting and Analytics team embedded within PATOE and comprised of Business Intelligence Engineers and Business Analysts. We design, build and sustain scalable data products that support Employee Relations, Global Learning & Development, and WW Operations. - 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience - 5+ years experience with SQL, Python, R - 3+ years experience working extensively in large scale data bases and data warehouses. - 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights - Experience in making recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent - 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience - 5+ years of development experience in AWS Services - Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modelling - Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

Test Lead handles end to end testing project/program and is responsible for all phases of the STLC cycle including test strategy/planning, estimation, test design, testing and release/ support of project/program. He/She is responsible for leading, tracking progress, mentoring the testing team and ensuring that the team adheres to testing process standards, procedures and goals. Design and deliver an engaging, blended technical learning curriculum that accelerates skill development and fosters proactive learning. Enhance the capability of Analyst Testers at all levels, embedding best practices and strengthening our global quality assurance framework. Inspire, mentor, and elevate the Analyst Testing community through targeted and impactful training initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead all internal and external technical training initiatives for Analyst Testers globally, with a strong emphasis on India. Create and manage a structured onboarding roadmap for new joiners, while supporting ongoing development for current staff. Oversee and analyze skills data using tools like PW Skills and PowerBI to identify gaps, assess risks, and uncover development opportunities. Collaborate with and coordinate Analyst Testers to contribute to the technical training curriculum, ensuring rapid upskilling across teams. Implement and evolve the Competency Skills Management framework, supporting career progression and performance benchmarks. Continuously review and refine the technical training strategy to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and measurable return on investment. What Were Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have experience as a Senior Analyst Tester within a high-performing team. Bring previous experience in technical training , whether in a corporate or educational setting. Be passionate about delivering innovative, effective training that sets learners up for success. Demonstrate a results-driven mindset , with strong mentoring and coaching capabilities. Be a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Possess working knowledge of PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean, and DevOps methodologies. Hold a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience . Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal abilities
