Test Automation Engineer

You are a TOSCA Automation Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in automated testing using Tricentis TOSCA ECT. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure software quality and reliability across various platforms. You will collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Additionally, you will maintain and update existing TOSCA test cases and frameworks, contribute to test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting, as well as participate in peer reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. You should have 3-6 years of hands-on experience in test automation, with at least 2 years in Tricentis TOSCA. Furthermore, you need to have a solid understanding of TOSCA modules such as TBox, API testing, Test Case Design, TestStep Libraries, etc. Knowledge of automation best practices, test automation life cycle, test case design, test data creation, and test execution in TOSCA is essential. Familiarity with integrating TOSCA into CI/CD pipelines, understanding software development and testing life cycles, as well as possessing strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Preferred qualifications include holding TOSCA certifications (e.g., Automation Specialist Level 1 or 2), basic scripting knowledge (VBScript, JavaScript) for custom controls in TOSCA, experience with Agile tools like JIRA & qTest, and exposure to testing Web Services, SAP & mobile using TOSCA.
