Test Automation Development and Execution

Role Overview: As a Test Automation Developer at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated tests, including Integration Tests, Acceptance Tests, and Performance Tests. You will play a key role in mapping requirements, understanding user acceptance criteria, and converting user stories into tangible test cases. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve code-related errors for major enhancements and minor change requests. Your technical collaboration and communication skills will be vital in maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the software system, participating in code reviews, and communicating complex technical solutions clearly to program stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate expertise in designing and developing automated tests, including Integration Tests, Acceptance Tests, and Performance Tests. - Map requirements, understand user acceptance criteria, and convert user stories into tangible test cases. - Plan, create, and manage test cases and test suites efficiently. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve code-related errors for major enhancements and minor change requests. - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the software system and actively participate in code reviews and development activities. - Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to program stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical individuals. - Create technical documentation considering customer requirements and project architecture. - Estimate timelines for implementing changes, such as adding or modifying existing code components. - Interpret defect burn down charts and manipulate data for defect management purposes. - Serve as a technical point of contact for the test automation domain. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience. - Top-tier software engineer with a primary focus on Java/Kotlin development, Python, and QA with proven proficiency in development for large integrated software solutions. - 5+ years of experience in various test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Pytest, Locators(Id's, Xpaths) is required. - Strong knowledge of testing concepts including different staging environments with requirements traceability. - Experience with automation on Android/iOS platforms - (adb, logcat). - Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD methods, AWS/S3 (cloud). - Analytical approach and problem-solving skills. - Excellent collaborative skills, spoken English, and experience in a multicultural and multi-site working environment is a big plus.
