Overview: Process Owner for Test Automation & Deployment Management Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire Process Owner for Test Automation & Deployment Management for a renowned based Company. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine a global test automation and deployment strategy that aligns with Covestros digital transformation and business goals. Drive innovation by exploring and implementing emerging technologies in test automation and deployment practices. Define and monitor KPIs to measure the efficiency of global test automation. Ensure the delivery of high-quality test scripts across projects and establish processes for regular maintenance. Implement standardized deployment methodologies globally, ensuring consistency and best practices. Collaborate with AI teams to design custom AI models for improved test coverage and efficiency. Lead research initiatives to apply AI in software testing. Serve as a central contact for test automation and deployment, organizing and guiding global communities of practice. Provide reports to IT&D leadership on test automation progress, achievements, challenges, and future strategies. Establish governance for test data management and deployment processes. Build strong relationships with IT&D and business teams to align strategies with business needs. Work Relations: Internal: IT&D leadership and team leads for strategy alignment AI Teams, Regional Testing Coordinators Data Privacy, Legal, and Business teams External: Technology vendors, service providers Professional associations in testing and quality assurance Industry experts Qualifications: Education: Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred. Skills and Knowledge: Extensive experience in test automation and deployment management. Advanced knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and deployment tools. (Optional) Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, Golang). Strong understanding of cloud technologies in test automation and deployment. (Optional) Knowledge of AI and machine learning in the context of testing and deployment. (Optional) Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Solution-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Business fluency in English; knowledge of German or Chinese is advantageous. Cultural sensitivity and ability to thrive in a global, diverse environment. Adaptability in a rapidly evolving technological environment. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
