Test Analyst / Performance Tester

Role Overview: As a Performance Tester at NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that software applications meet and exceed user expectations for performance, reliability, and scalability. You will work alongside the QA Manager, Automation/Performance Test Lead, product, and development teams to maintain a high standard of quality in products. Your responsibilities will include designing, maintaining, and executing performance test suites using tools like JMeter, identifying performance test scenarios, conducting load testing, stress testing, scalability testing, and reporting performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience on more than one performance testing tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, OpenSTA, VSTS, etc. - Thorough understanding of performance testing concepts like think time, user load, ramp up, endurance, stress, load, etc. - Ensuring efficient and effective performance testing of the system under test using appropriate strategies and techniques. - Collaborating with development and QA teams to improve performance. - Tracking personal tasks allocated by a Test or Development Lead. - Designing test scenarios, building test data generation scripts, and preparing test data. - Analyzing and reporting performance metrics, identifying and resolving performance issues. - Following processes, standards, and guidelines for project delivery. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience with Agile development methodologies.
