Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic plans to exceed sales targets. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to align projects with client specifications, conduct market research, create proposals, and present solutions to potential clients. Monitoring industry trends and reporting on key performance metrics are also core aspects of this role. Qualifications Experience in business development, sales, and strategic planning Proficiency in building client relationships and conducting market research Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Knowledge of engineering and construction concepts is advantageous Ability to work in a team environment and meet sales targets Proficiency in using CRM tools and other relevant business development software Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field Previous experience in the construction or engineering sector is a plus
