Role & responsibilities LiDAR Data Processing Process raw LiDAR data from ALS (Airborne LiDAR Survey) and MLS (Mobile LiDAR Survey) projects. Perform point cloud classification, editing, and feature extraction. Tool Utilization Use software like TerraScan , TerraMatch , and TerraPhoto within MicroStation V8i or Connected Edition for calibration, alignment, and data refinement. QA/QC and Data Validation Conduct detailed QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of the processed data. Validate project deliverables such as DTM (Digital Terrain Models) , DSM (Digital Surface Models) , Contours , and Orthophotos . Project Coordination Collaborate closely with project managers, survey teams, and GIS professionals. Review and interpret project specifications and technical documentation. Deliverables Preparation Generate high-quality geospatial outputs in compliance with client and industry standards (ASPRS, LAS/LAZ). Ensure timely delivery of data and outputs as per project timelines. Workflow Optimization Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows for enhanced processing efficiency. Suggest and implement improvements to data processing techniques and methodologies. Preferred candidate profile Educational Qualification : Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering , Geomatics , Geoinformatics , or related disciplines.
